We want you to be thrilled with our work. This policy explains when and how refunds apply.

1) Summary (At a Glance)

  • Web Design Projects: 50% upfront (non‑refundable once work starts); 50% held in escrow and charged after completion and just before final delivery; refundable while in escrow until acceptance (§4).
  • SEO Monthly Retainers & Other Monthly Retainers: 100% upfront each month; fully refundable within 30 days of payment if dissatisfied for any reason.
  • SEO One‑Time / Project‑Based: 50% upfront (non‑refundable once work starts); 50% held in escrow and charged when you’re satisfied before final delivery.

2) Eligibility & Timeframes

  • 30‑Day Satisfaction Window (Retainers): Request a refund within 30 calendar days of the payment date for that month to receive a full refund of that month’s fee.
  • Pre‑work Cancellation: If you cancel before we begin work, we’ll refund the upfront payment minus any non‑recoverable processing fees.
  • After Work Begins (Project‑Based): The upfront 50% covers discovery, planning, and initial production and is non‑refundable once work starts. Escrow remains refundable until acceptance.

3) What’s Not Refundable

  • Third‑party costs: hosting, domains, SSL, app/plugin/theme licenses, paid stock/media, transcription, software subscriptions, and ad spend.
  • Government or payment processor fees and currency conversion/transfer fees.
  • Work already accepted (see ToS §10) or deployed at your request.

4) Escrow Funds

  • Escrow protects both parties. Funds are released only when the milestone is met and you have sign‑off.
  • If you’re not satisfied, tell us in writing; we’ll revise within scope or mutually end the project. If ended prior to acceptance, escrow is refundable less any mutually agreed fees for out‑of‑scope work.

5) How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@coreinnovationslab.com with subject: REFUND REQUEST.
  2. Include: project name/SOW ID, invoice number(s), payment date(s), and a short description of the issue.
  3. We’ll acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve or process the refund within 7 – 10 business days to the original payment method (unless unavailable).

6) Chargebacks & Disputes

Please contact us first; we’ll make it right or refund within policy. Unwarranted chargebacks may incur recovery costs and account suspension.

7) Cancellations

  • Retainers: You can cancel any time. Billing stops at period end; if within the 30‑day window, you’ll receive a full refund for that month.
  • Projects: You may cancel for convenience prior to acceptance; we’ll retain the already‑earned upfront and return escrow per §4.

8) Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes will be shared, and the latest version on our site controls.

Q1. If I cancel SEO after 10 days, do I get a full refund?
Yes. Monthly retainers are fully refundable within 30 days for any reason.

Q2. Can I get back hosting or domain fees?
No. Third‑party costs aren’t refundable.

Q3. What if I approved the website and then changed my mind?
After acceptance/deployment, refunds don’t apply. We’re happy to scope additional changes.

Q4. If we stop a web project mid‑way, what happens to escrow?
Escrow is refundable prior to acceptance (less any mutually agreed out‑of‑scope work). Upfront 50% is non‑refundable once work began.

Q5. I paid for a 3‑month SEO plan – can I cancel after month one?
Yes. Future months won’t be billed. Month one remains fully refundable if within 30 days of payment.

Q6. How long do refunds take to hit my account?
We initiate within 7–10 business days after approval; bank posting times vary.

Q7. Can refunds go to a different card or bank?
We must refund to the original method when possible.

Q8. Do you offer partial refunds for partially completed SOW items?
If work is accepted/deployed, refunds don’t apply; otherwise escrow can be returned per policy.

Q9. What if I’m dissatisfied but want to keep working with you?
We’ll revise within scope or restructure the engagement—your choice. The 30‑day guarantee remains available on monthly retainers.
